3 must-see hop-off attractions

If you don’t have a lot of time in Reykjavik, or you simply don’t know what to see, here are our top 3 things you can’t miss. First is Hallgrimskirkja Church. Towering over Reykjavik’s skyline, it can be seen from almost every corner of the city, but it has to be seen close up to truly be appreciated. Hop off the bus here to experience its towering size. At 75 metres tall, it’s one of the tallest buildings in Iceland. Hop back on the bus to continue your Icelandic adventure, but be sure to hop off at the National Museum of Iceland. Featuring over 2,000 artefacts, the museum charts the entire history of Iceland’s 1,200-year human history, from settlement by the Vikings, to the present day. Finally, hop off at Harpa Concert Hall. Located close to the old harbour, its façade is anything but old – its eye-catching modern design is a feast for the eyes and a great photo opportunity.

Plan your Reykjavik trip

Get ready for the trip of a lifetime all around Reykjavík's finest corners! We'll pick you up right outside Harpa Concert Hall & Conference Centre. You can't miss our eye-catching red double-decker buses! If you want to fully experience Reykjavík the right way then stay on the bus for the whole route. After you've done the loop once, you'll have briefly seen the beauties of the city and will be ready to explore in more depth! Make sure you hop off at Hallgrimskirka. It's your choice, but no need to pay to go up the tower! Another must-see attraction is Perlan, which offers a great 360-degree view of your surroundings from up high. Perlan is pretty hard to get to by public transport, so we recommend you hop straight onto our open-top bus tour and we'll take you straight there!
