Description
Begin your Tobermory and Staffa Tour in Oban where you will catch the Caledonian MacBrayne ferry, MV Isle of Mull, to Craignure on Mull. The journey is approximately 45 minutes and you will enjoy spectacular views of the Firth of Lorn.
From here you will catch the West Coast Motors bus for the scenic drive to Tobermory. In the marina you will board the Staffa Tours boat and sail along the rugged north coast of Mull to the amazing Isle of Staffa. You’ll have about one hour to explore the uninhabited island, with the highlight being Fingal’s Cave, which owes its existence to the island’s volcanic origin.
Sail back to Tobermory, the capital of Mull, where you will have several hours of free time to explore this picturesque village. Highlights include the colourfully painted buildings on Main Street, the clock tower and the Tobermory whisky distillery. Finally, return to Craignure on the Tobermory Topper bus service and catch the ferry back to Oban to complete this fantastic day out!
