Stonehenge is an incredible window into a world that once was. What was it for? Who built it and how? When you see these enormous stones, which have stood silently for thousands of years, you will ask yourself these questions.

The fascinating Visitor Centre will give you an insight into the answers to your questions. Here, you can stand among the stones in the 3-dimensional ‘Standing in the Stones’ exhibit. Appreciate what Stonehenge must have been like at both the summer and winter solstices.

Outside the Visitor Centre, the reconstructed Neolithic Houses will give you an idea of how we used to live before even the most basic luxuries of modern life existed.

You have 2.5 hours to enjoy the site and the Visitor Centre before returning, in luxury, to London, a place that would have been unimaginable to its Neolithic neighbours!
