Description
Iceland is a land of incredible natural beauty and the South Shore is home to some of its greatest wonders. The South Shore Adventure will take you from Reykjavik to explore the incomparable treasures of the country’s southern coast.
First up on the tour is a brief stop at the Lava Centre, where you’ll be able to get some snacks for the journey ahead. From there, it’s on to Skógafoss. 60 metres high and 25 wide, it’s the type of waterfall that dreams are made of. We recommend bringing something waterproof to wear as it’s possible to get really close to the cascading white water and feel its spray on your face!
The tour will also take you to Seljalandsfoss, another spectacular waterfall, and one you can walk behind – an absolutely incredible experience. The furthest point from Reykjavik on the tour is the tiny village of Vik, from where you’ll be able to visit the famous black beach of Reynisfjara and the imposing Reynisdrangar basalt sea stacks, and a small lake formed due to the retreat of the Solheimajokull glacier.
