Description
Combine bus, boat and throw in free entry to the crème de la crème of Palma’s sights to make the very most of your stay. This fantastic city rewards exploration and with our Palma Ultimate Experience, you’ll be able to maximise your time. Our bus route is designed to show you the best of the city and our boat tour lets you see it all from a whole new angle.
With its year-round warm, sunny climate, our boat cruise is the perfect way to enjoy this beautiful city. During this 1-hour cruise, you’ll have the chance to see some of Palma’s most famous attractions from a completely different perspective, and with panoramic 360-degree views from the top deck, you won’t miss a thing.
One of Palma’s many unmissable sights is La Seu, and you will hardly be able to miss it as it dominates the city. As you admire spectacular views of the magnificent cathedral from the water, don’t forget that your ticket includes free entry to the incredible edifice, and our bus will drop you right outside. Did you know that the famous Catalan architect Antoni Gaudí once worked on a renovation of the cathedral, but after an argument with the contractor he left the project?
There were no such delays in the building of the historic Bellver Castle, built in the 1300s in a mere 11 years under the orders of King James II of Mallorca. Europe’s oldest circular castle certainly lives up to its name, meaning “good view” – the castle sits on top of a wooded hill, and from the top you’ll see Palma, its beautiful bay and the rows of luxurious superyachts docked in the port. The castle has a long and treacherous history. Learn about its many incarnations, from refuge to shelter, fortress to prison. Feel a shiver down your spine as you see graffiti carved by prisoners on the walls of the top terrace.
Astounding architecture? Check. Fascinating history? Check. Now, it’s time for some art, and our convenient bus will take you straight to Museu es Baluard, where you can contemplate a vast collection of modern and contemporary art. With entry to these three fantastic attractions, you’ll get the complete picture on Palma, and with your bus and boat plans sorted for you, there’s barely any organisation to be done. So, what are you waiting for? Book with City Sightseeing today!
