Additional Information

6:30am: Depart Dublin We meet you at the Molly Malone Statue located on Suffolk Street (a map is available on the booking page). Please arrive at least 10 minutes prior to the departure time. From there, we will head north out of Dublin city towards Belfast.
10:00am: Our first sight of the day is the Dark Hedges. This fantastic stretch of road was planted with beech trees by James Stuart in the 1700s. The intertwining trees create an amazing spectacle and have been featured in the Game of Thrones. Click here for more details on the Dark Hedges.
10:30pm: Carrick-a-Rede We arrive at the Carrick-a-Rede rope bridge where we will spend an hour. The bridge is a 20 minute walk from the car park giving you the chance to enjoy views of the Irish coastline and build up the nerve to cross the bridge. The rope bridge is run by the National Trust and your fee for crossing is included in the price of the tour. The views from the bridge are second to none with views of Rathlin Island, Sheep Island and even as far as Scotland's coast. The scenery is spectacular and is a favourite of many of our clients.
12:00pm: Giants Causeway We then start our journey towards the Giants Causeway passing through the picturesque village of Ballintoy. Your guide will inform you about the Irish legend associated with the Causeway's creation. The Giants Causeway is the highlight of the day and we spend at least an hour and a half exploring this spectacular feature. We recommend that you walk the cliff top on your way to the Causeway as this affords the best views. Your guide will take you to a local bar or cafe for lunch (not included in the price) or you can enjoy a packed lunch as you take in the scenery. We guarantee that you won't want to leave the beautiful coastline, basalt columns of the causeway and views of the dramatic cliffs created through volcanic activity millions of years ago.
2:30pm: View of Dunluce Castle After taking in the views and creating unforgettable memories, we start our journey towards the grand city of Belfast. Our route takes us past Dunluce Castle, the most romantic castle in all of Ireland, which was home to the McDonnell Clan for many years. Dunluce Castle has also been referred to as the primary inspiration for CS Lewis's fictional castle 'Cair Paravel' which was established in his popular series, "The Chronicles of Narnia", In addition, we'll be passing through the spirited town of Bushmills where Ireland's very first hydro power plant was built as well as being the proud makers of a world famous brand of whiskey!
4:00pm: Belfast Once we've arrived at the notable city of Belfast, you'll be allotted 90 minutes to go about sightseeing at your own convenience. We recommend visiting the main shopping district for souvenirs, The Crown Saloon and the Belfast City Hall among others. Another option is to do the Black Taxi tour (not included). You can let your guide know in advance of reaching Belfast and he will have a taxi waiting for you to commence the tour when we arrive. The tour is approximately 1 hour.
