The key to the heart of the Wild Atlantic Way, the Cliffs of Moher stretch for about 8 kilometres (5 miles) and stand 214 metres above the Atlantic. This magnificent Cliffs of Moher day tour leaving from Dublin leads you to this iconic landmark with breathtaking views of the coast. After a refreshing stroll listening to the crashing waves and searching for the seated woman in the south, we will continue to explore Co. Clare, taking in the Burren. Wild orchards bloom in this national park with a foundation of karst and limestone.

Additional Information

6:50am: We meet at the Molly Malone statue on Suffolk Street (map is linked on our booking page). You'll board our comfortable coach, meet your guide and fellow adventurers and head west out of Dublin. We'll pass the Guinness Factory and Kilmainham Jail. We will also pass the Curragh horse racing track. There are quaint villages, lush countryside and even some castle ruins to see as we head towards the Cliffs of Moher.
11:00am: Arriving at the Cliffs of Moher, you will have the opportunity to stroll around the impressive cliff top, enjoying panoramic views and taking in the history of the area. Marvel at the captivating landscape and stunning views out to sea. You will certainly take lovely photos here! Included in the price is entrance to the cliffs as well as viewing an interactive video in the visitors centre.
12:45pm: After exploring the cliffs, you will have worked up an appetite, so we will stop for lunch at the delightful village of Doolin. We usually eat at Fitzpatrick's Pub, which has delicious fish and seafood chowder. Doolin is well-known for its local Irish music and is located near Lisdoonvarna, famous for its matchmaking festival.
2:00pm: After lunch we head to the karst landscape of the Burren. This is a unique limestone region which is home to many plants and flowers which manage to grow within fertile crevices in the rocky exterior. Lovely orchids and bright gentian blue flowers only grow in this part of the country. See if you can spot them! Take a refreshing walk right on the coast and navigate the rocky landscape as you explore the Burren.
3:30pm: We will visit Corcomroe Abbey, which is an impressive and well preserved 12th century abbey with intricate carvings within the ruin and surrounded by lush countryside. We head back to Dublin via a different route, which includes a stop in charming Kinvara and views of historic Dunguaire Castle.
7:00pm: We will return to Dublin reminiscing about the days activities, the memorable scenery and with stories to tell about our experiences!

All terms and conditions are the same and if you are late for the bus in the morning or are a no show, you will get fully charged for the tour that you have booked as we have reserved a seat or seats for you
