Description
Though mere kilometres away from each other Benalmadena and Malaga couldn’t be more different. One is a tourist resort supreme, with beaches, boats and great family attractions, the other the regional capital, a world-renowned centre of culture, full of museums, parks and historic monuments.
Benalmadena has its own special charms, from wonderful beaches to spectacular views over the sea from the old town, it definitely rewards those who come to explore. We’ve included the fantastic Butterfly Park in your ticket. It’s like a butterfly zoo and home to hundreds of these delightful creatures, with species from all over the world. And look out for the wallaby in the garden! So, we recommend you head up there and then maybe spend some time on the beach before exploring some more.
Malaga is rapidly becoming the south of Spain’s cultural capital. It’s home to so many great museums and cultural attractions. One of our favourites is **MIMMA **(the Interactive Music Museum), where you actually get to play some instruments. Don’t leave without banging the gong! It’s a great place to while away an hour or two. We like it so much we’ve included entrance with your ticket. And if you’re looking for places to hop off the bus, we’d say you can’t beat the views from Gibralfaro. It sits so high above the city, you’ll be glad that the bus took you there!

- Departure times are from stop 1 (Puerto Marina)
- From Monday to Friday: 10.00, 11.15, 12.30,15.00, 16.15, 17.30
- Weekends: 10.00, 10.30, 11.15, 11.45, 12.30, 13.00, 14.00, 15.00, 16.15, 17.30
- Every day, the 12:30 and 17:30 buses go to Benalmadena village and the Butterfly Park.
Hop-On Hop Off Malaga
Red Route schedule:
Until further notice the red and blue routes are combined. The buses that go to the Museo Ruso do not stop at the Centro de Arte Contemporáneo (stop 2 on the red route).

The bus times are as follows: 10:00, 10:20, 10:40, 11:00, 11:20, 11:40, 12.00, 12:20, 12:40, 13:00, 13:20, 13:40, 14:10, 14:40, 15:10, 15:40, 16:00, 16:30, 17:00, 17:15, 17:50, 18:30 and 19:00.
