Escape Belfast for the day and discover the striking beauty of the North Antrim coastline and the Giant's Causeway, a geographical phenomenon dubbed the 8th wonder of the world. An expert guide will lead you through this UNESCO World Heritage Site, following in the footsteps of the legendary giants Finn McCool and Benandonner, recounting the history of a landscape formed 50-60 million years ago by volcanic activity. Plus, the tour will take you inside the state-of-the-art Visitor Centre where you'll discover yet more about the 40,000 hexagonal basalt columns that make the site so renowned.
The tour then continues along the world-famous Causeway Coastal Route to the haunting ruins of medieval Dunluce Castle which has inspired many local fantasy writers, as well as to the rickety Carrick-a-Rede Rope Bridge, swaying 30 metres above the crashing waves below. You'll also stop off at other iconic sights in the region, including Carnlough, one of the locations where the Game of Thrones series was filmed, and Carrickfergus Castle.
