This incredible modern city barely existed fifty years ago and now it’s an expansive modern city which feels like it belongs as much to the future as to the present. Our local team have carefully planned our Dubai hop-on hop-off routes to make sure that you get to see the very best of the city.
Hop-On Hop-Off Dubai
Our two main routes, the Red and the Blue, take in different sides of the city, so you get to see it all. One of the highlights of the Red Route is the Museum of the Future, which is worth visiting just to see the uniquely spectacular building that the museum calls home. It really does look like something from the future, from a science fiction film, in a city full of the futuristic.
For a taste of old Dubai, hop off at the Al Seef Heritage Area, also on the Red Route, where you’ll be able to experience Dubai both old and new in this fascinating development, which, though recently built, is half in the style of the Dubai of yesteryear and half Dubai at its most modern. It’s a vibrant area that’s full of small shops and great places to eat.
The Blue Route heads in the other direction towards the delights of the Palm Jumeirah and the Mall of the Emirates, both examples of Dubai’s incredible modernity at its finest. The Mall of the Emirates is home to over six hundred shops, a fantastic family entertainment centre called Magic Planet and, amazingly, an indoor ski slope! The Palm Jumeirah is one of the most famous and emblematic parts of Dubai. This archipelago of manmade islands takes its name from the fact that its laid out in the shape of a date palm, though you need to be high above it to appreciate how amazing it looks!

Before you go
Red Route:
- The bus leaves Dubai Mall - Zabeel Bus Parking every 2 hours from 10:00 until 16:00.
Blue Route: (Route will return September onward)
