Description
If Noah came back and had to build another ark, Philadelphia Zoo could be his one-stop shop as it has an abundance of animals from all around the world. From aye-ayes and African lions to white-handed gibbons and zebras, they’re all here. There’s something for animal lovers of every stripe.
Philadelphia Zoo first opened its doors in 1874 and it’s been entertaining, educating, innovating and evolving ever since. One of its newest features is Zoo360, a series of mesh trails across and around the zoo which lets the animals enjoy more freedom and also allows human visitors to appreciate them in a whole new way. Big Cat Crossing, for example, allows lions, tigers and other big cats to roam above the people down below.
Another great feature is Creatures of Habitat, a series of 12 awesome LEGO© models of endangered animals. Each animal has its own storytelling box, so you can learn all about its story. The kids will love them!
