This Barcelona Food Tour is the perfect way to discover some of the best of Catalan and Spanish food. Your tour will start in the neighbourhood of Sant Antoni, where you’ll meet the local food expert who will be your guide. You’ll begin your evening of culinary delights with an olive oil tasting, followed by a visit to a deli where you’ll get to sample a selection of cold meats, such as Iberian ham and chorizo, and delicious locally produced cheeses. You’ll also learn to drink wine from a porró, a spouted glass jar. Be careful though because it’s not easy!

With your appetite whetted but hopefully not your clothes wetted, it’s time to move on. Next stop will be to try a refreshing glass of cold horchata, a delicious traditional drink made from tiger nuts. Then, it’s on to Poble Sec, one of the city’s up-and-coming neighbourhoods, where you’ll visit a pintxo bar and get to try some of these delicious Basque snacks, made with a selection of incredible toppings on open bread, and you’ll be able to wash it down with a glass of sparkling wine.

Then, it’s up to the heights of Montjuïc to enjoy the spectacular views over the city and port. To get to your final food destination, you’ll take the Montjuïc cable car back down to the old port, where you’ll have a glass of vermouth before going to an excellent seafood restaurant, where you’ll enjoy a drink and eat some delicious paella.
