    Description

    Classic Copenhagen Route

Hop on our Classic Copenhagen Route all year round to hit all the capital’s top sights! You absolutely cannot visit Copenhagen without a trip to the Nyhavn canal. Hop off to explore the charming waterfront with its jazz bars, food stalls and rows of rainbow-coloured terraces. And snap a selfie in front of the quaint lemon-yellow house where Hans Christian Andersen, Denmark’s national hero, penned his first ever fairy tale.

Hop back on and head to the famous Little Mermaid statue, a tribute to the tragic (at least in the original story) heroine of Andersen’s most famous tale. Nearby, stroll down the lovely park-lined Langelinie pier and admire the colossal luxury cruise ships.

It’s not difficult to see why so many visitors flock to the grand Rosenborg Castle with its exquisite gardens, and you’ll get panoramic vistas from our top deck. Built by King Christian IV as a summer palace, it’s filled to the brim with royal relics; glittering crowns, controversial portraits and the pièce de résistance, a dazzling jewel-encrusted sword.

Next up are the magical Tivoli Gardens, dating all the way back to 1843. Dare you take a ride on one of the world’s oldest wooden roller coasters? The faint-hearted among you can stick to Tivoli’s picture-perfect parks and gardens.

    Colorful Copenhagen Route

This Colorful route reveals the city’s more off-beat side:

If you’re travelling on weekends or in the summer, switch to our Colorful Copenhagen route and experience an explosion of colour in Christianshavn. Gaze at the rows of multi-coloured terraced houses reflected in the canal. Our open-top bus will take you right to Christiania Freetown, Copenhagen’s alternative and anarchic “hippie” zone, where private cars are banned.

Feeling peckish? Continue to Reffen, where you’ll find a sprawling organic street food market with a multitude of mouth-watering morsels to choose from.

    Home of Carlsberg Route

Our Home of Carlsberg route is perfect for families and beer aficionados:

To see another side of the city at the weekend or in the summer, hop on our Home of Carlsberg route to enjoy Copenhagen’s many family-friendly attractions. Observe animals from all over the world at Copenhagen Zoo, from a close-up encounter with polar bears at the Arctic Ring to a lesson in the habits of the magnificent elephants at the Elephant house. Or hop off at the Home of Carlsberg museum to explore the fascinating history of the brewery.

Book with City Sightseeing today and fall in love with Copenhagen!
