Highlights can include the women's monastery of Agia Triada, reached by a steep climb of 140 rock-hewn steps; the wood-carved treasures and gold-embroidered iconostasis of Saint Stefanos; or Varlaam monastery, home to a collection of around 300 manuscripts and a 600-year-old wine barrel.

- The hop-on hop-off bus will not operate on the following dates: 12th and 26th April; 1st May; 5th, 6th, 18th and 21st September; and 25th, 26th and 28th October.

Wheelchair Accessibility

Meteora Day-Trip:
- Tours run every day of the week, from 1st June until 31st October 2026.
- Duration: 11 hours approx.
- The tour starts at 8:00 from the “Statue of Venizelos” on Aristotelous Square & Egnatia Street and returns at approximately 19:00.
IMPORTANT: Tour tickets must be used on the day you select when you book your tour.
- The monasteries enforce a strict dress code: no shorts for men, no sleeveless tops for women.
