‘Tis the season and Santa Claus is coming to town! Starting this month the Santa Bus will be back in Belfast!
For yet another year, City Sightseeing Belfast has partnered with Aunt Sandra’s Candy Factory to bring to life Santa’s Sweet Factory Tour and spread the Christmas magic. Young and old alike can hop on board Santa’s double-decker bus decked out with Christmas cheer to go meet Santa as he prepares the sweets he will deliver worldwide on Christmas Eve.
One of Santa’s elves will check passengers in before setting off to Aunt Sandra’s Candy Factory. Once at the factory, all will be taken on a VIP tour of the factory before getting up close and personal with Good Ol’ Saint Nick and tasting a delectable Christmas treat. Once everyone has relayed their Christmas wish, visited Santa’s sweet shop and filled their stockings with countless sweets, and picked up their gifts, Santa’s sleigh will head back to Belfast’s city centre.
This fun activity is not only a great family-friendly outing but a way to give back to local charities. This year, City Sightseeing Belfast are donating a portion of all ticket sales to two charities- Northern Ireland Ambulance Service and SOS Bus NI. Northern Ireland Air Ambulance works in partnership with Northern Ireland Ambulance Service to provide lifesaving services by responding to serious trauma injuries. SOS Bus NI is dedicated to ensuring no one is left out alone on the streets of Belfast. This organization has support vehicles from 10 pm until 3 am during the weekends to provide support and a safe area for Belfast’s homeless. Furthermore, they deliver food to several food banks and shelters through their food programme.
So this Chrismas season, why not hop on the Christmas bus? It is sure to be fun for the whole family and for a great cause!
